Chicken Karahi Recipe: Required ingredients
1 ½ chicken (cut into 16 pieces)
4 Kashmiri red chili (cut into thin and long slices)
6 green chili (cut into thin and long slices)
2 tbsp ginger (cut into thin and long slices)
1 tsp Black pepper (powdered)
Salt to taste
1 cup cooking oil
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp white vinegar
Chicken Karahi Recipe: Cooking Instructions
Add chicken, salt, ginger-garlic paste and white vinegar in a pan and place it on stove over low heat.
When water has been dried, add black pepper, green chilis and red chili and mix well.
Add cooking oil in a frying pan and heat it for 4-5 minutes.
Add hot cooking oil into the chicken.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice into chicken karahi and mix well.
Delicious chicken karahi is ready, serve hot with roghni or plain naans and yogurt raita.
Note: For more cheerful color of chicken karahi, you can add mixture of orange color and vinegar.
