Taftani kabab is a delicious mince dish that is loved by everyone. This vibrantly flavored and exoctic food is perfect for lunch as well as dinner.
Kababs or cutlets can be created in many different ways using a number of ingredients. Earlier we taught you to make potato and mong daal cutlets and now it’s the time to learn making kafta cutlets in easy steps.

Ingredients Kabab Recipe 

  • Eggs –2
  • Keema –1/2 kg
  • Gram lentils –1 cup boiled
  • Lentils –1 cup boiled
  • Onion –1 thinly sliced
  • Tomato –1 thinly sliced
  • Green chilies –4-5 finely chopped
  • Ginger paste –1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste –1 tbsp
  • Tamarind pulp –2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder –1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder –1/2 tbsp
  • Carom seeds –1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required


  • Saute onion, add in tomato and green chilies and cook well to create seasoning. Thereafter include red chili powder, crushed black pepper, ginger garlic paste and carom seeds following with keema.
  • Cook for further few minutes and remove heat.
  • Now, mix keema and boiled gram lentils and lentils together and grind well. Put in tamarind pulp and salt as well and blend until the concoction mix properly.
  • Knead down the mixture to make it consistent and then take small balls and shape them in the form of cutlets.
  • Warm up oil in a frying pan and fry the cutlets after dipping them in egg.
  • Healthy and scrumptious taftani cutlets are ready. Enjoy hot with tea and kabab recipe, ketchup or yogurt.
