Dahe phulki is one of the most delicious and healthiest food recipes. Prepared with yogurt, tiny phulkis of yellow lentil flour, ground sugar and mild spices, dahe phulki is very simple to prepare and is liked by everyone regardless of age and sex.

Dahe Phulki Recipe: cooking instructions

•    1 cup Yellow lentil flour (dal moong)
•    1 tsp baking powder
•    ½ cup fresh water
•    1 tbsp. salt
•    Cooking oil for frying
For yogurt mixture
•    1 kg yogurt
•    Hal cup sugar (ground)
•    Salt to taste
For Dahe Phulki Spice
•    ½ cup whole red chili
•    ½ cup cumin seeds
•    1 tbsp. salt

Dahe Phulki Recipe: cooking instructions

1.    For dahe phulki spice, sauté whole red chili and cumin seeds separately and grind both ingredients. Combine red chili and cumin seed powders and add salt into the mixture as well.
2.    Take yellow lentil flour in a pan, add water and baking powder and mix well. Leave this cocktail for about ten minutes.
3.    After that, heat the cooking oil in a pan, make tiny phulkis of yellow lentil flour mixture and fry them until they turn golden brown.
4.    Mix water and salt in another pan and soak phulkis (when they cool down) in it for one hour.
5.    Add little amount of ground sugar and salt in yogurt and mix well.
6.    Take the phulkis out of water, squeeze them carefully and add into the yogurt.
7.    Sprinkle dahe phulki spice and serve.
