Mutton Malai Kababs: Required ingredients
1/2 minced lamb meat (qeema)
2 minced onions
2 minced green chilies
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp whole spice powder
1 tsp coriander seed powder
1 bread slice
1/2 cup fresh milk
1 well-beaten egg
All-purpose flour (as needed)
1/2 cup fresh cream
1 tbsp. minced coriander leaves
1 tbsp. minced ginger
Cooking oil (as needed)
¼ tsp red chili powder
¼ tsp whole spice powder
2 green chilies (thinly chopped)
2 tbsp. thinly chopped fresh coriander leaves
Salt to taste
Mutton Malai Kababs: Cooking instructions
Submerge bread slice in half cup of fresh milk.
Add minced meat, onion, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves in a deep bowl.
Squeeze the submerged bread slice and add into the bowl. Add salt, red chili powder, coriander seed powder, whole spice powder and egg as well.
Now mix all constituents thoroughly with the help of your hands.
Divide the prepared mixture in small portions and turn each portion in an oval-shaped kababs.
Take sufficient amount of all-purpose flour in a large plate.
Coat all kababs with all-purpose flour and then deep fry in hot oil till they turn golden brown from all sides. Then transfer them in a plate.
Now place the kababs in a baking dish, pour fresh cream over kababs and then sprinkle red chili powder, whole spice powder, salt and coriander leaves.
Bake in preheated oven at 200 centigrade for 20 minutes.
Delicious mutton malai kababs are ready, serve hot with ketchup or yogurt chatni.
