Pakora are a traditional snack of Pakistani and Indian cuisine. Prepared with gram flour and seasonal vegetables, pakora are considered as a must part of the Iftar menu, so we can say that Ramzan is the perfect time to try this crunchy and flavorsome recipe. Ramzan Special Pakora Recipe: Required Ingredients
250 g gram flour
Half bunch of spinach (palak) well-cleaned and thinly chopped
1 large onion (finely chopped)
One half inches piece of ginger (thinly chopped)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Red chili powder (according to your taste)
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 medium-sized green chilies (finely chopped)
3 tbsp. thinly chopped fresh coriander leaves
1 tbsp. cumin seeds
Mince all ingredients slightly and add to the gram flour just before frying
Cooking oil for frying
Ramzan Special Pakora Recipe: Cooking Instruments
Mix all ingredients in the gram flour to make batter.
Add cooking oil in a frying pan and heat it over medium flame.
Now add cumin seeds into the prepared mixture and start adding pakoras into the hot oil.
Fry the pakoras while stirring till they turn golden brown from all sides.
Delicious Ramzan special pakoras are ready. Transfer them on a butter paper and serve hot with tomato ketchup, chili garlic sauce or yogurt chatni.
