Palak Gosht Recipe: Required Ingredients
• 1 kg spinach
• ½ kg meat (mutton or beef)
• 2 tsp yogurt
• 3 thinly chopped onions
• 2/3 cup ghee or cooking oil
• Salt to taste
• Thinly chopped fresh coriander leaves (as needed)
• Red chili powder & turmeric powder (as needed)
Palak Gosht Recipe: Cooking Instructions
1. Clean and arrange the spinach leaves, rinse in running water and then chop them with the help of sharp knife.
2. Add thinly chopped palak in a saucepan and place it on stove over light heat. Let it cook until it becomes soft in its own water. Thereafter grind it well in a chopper.
3. Add cooking oil in a pan and heat it, then fry meat for few minutes.
4. Now add salt, coriander seed powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and water. Cover the pan with its lid and let the meat cook until it becomes tender.
5. After some time, mix minced palak into the meat spice and steam it for few minutes.
6. Finally add yogurt and cook until oil gets separate from the spice.
7. Transfer mouth-watering palak gosht in a bowl and serve hot with pitta bread.
