Roghni Naan is one of the traditional foods of India and Pakistan. The crispy yet soft naan is more delicious than regular tandoori naan and other types of bread. That’s why it is very popular in Asian region and the gulf countries as well. Many people like roghni naan with chicken qorma, mutton curry and other similar dishes.

Roghni Naan Recipe: Ingredients list
2 cups all purpose flour
2 ½ teaspoons dry active yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup butter
Salt to taste
Roghni Naan Recipe: Cooking Instructions
Add yeast, salt and sugar in warm water and leave it for 5-10 minutes.
Melt the butter by keeping it in microwave oven for a while.
Add all purpose flour in a large bowl, add the yeast mixture and butter in it and knead it well to make a dough.
Keep the bowl of dough for about three hours. (Don’t forget to cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap).
When the dough gets double, turn it into 5-6 balls.
Now make about 7 inches circles (naans) of the balls with the help of rolling pin.
Make holes in each naan with the help of your fingers or fork.
Put the naan in oven and bake it on 200 degree heat for 8-10 minute.
When it becomes golden brown, brush its top with butter and bake fore more two minutes.
Serve hot with yogurt chatni or your favrorite curry.
