1 kg lamb meat
3-4 green cardamoms
1 cup onion paste
1/2 cup coconut milk
200 ml yakhni
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp. ginger-garlic paste
3 tbsp. tamarind pulp
Salt to taste
Green chilies and fresh coriander leaves (as needed)

Wash mutton well in running water, let it dry and cut into small pieces.
Mix red chili powder, black pepper powder, coriander seed powder, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder and tamarind pulp in a large bowl.
Marinate the mutton pieces in the prepared cocktail and keep it aside for 2-4 hours.
Now take cooking oil in a pan and heat it.
Add onion paste and ginger-garlic paste into the hot oil and cook till it turns golden brown.
Add marinated mutton into the spice and cook for few minutes.
Add yakhni and cook over medium flame till the mutton pieces become tender.
Then add coconut milk and cardamom powder, let the curry cook till all the water dries completely.
When the oil separates, add thinly chopped fresh coriander leaves.
Delicious mirch mutton masala is ready.
