Mirch Mutton Masala Recipe: Required Ingredients

•    1 kg lamb meat ( cut into small pieces)
•    3-4 cardamoms
•    1 cup onion paste
•    1/2 cup coconut milk
•    200 ml yakhni
•    1 tsp coriander seeds
•    1 tsp red chili powder
•    1/2 tsp black pepper
•    1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
•    1/2 tsp cardamom powder
•    2 tbsp. ginger-garlic paste
•    3 tbsp. tamarind pulp
•    Salt to taste
•    Green chilies and fresh coriander leaves (as needed)

Mirch Mutton Masala Recipe: Cooking Instructions

1.    Wash mutton thoroughly in fresh water and let it dry.
2.    Mix red chili powder, black pepper powder, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, coriander seed powder and tamarind pulp in a large bowl.
3.    Marinate the mutton pieces in the prepared cocktail and keep it in refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
4.    Now take cooking oil in a pan and heat it.
5.    Add onion paste and ginger-garlic paste into the hot oil and cook till it turns golden brown.
6.    Add marinated mutton into the spice and cook for few minutes.
7.    Add yakhni and cook over medium flame till the mutton pieces become tender.
8.    Then add coconut milk and cardamom powder, let the curry cook till all the water dries completely.
9.    When the oil separates, add fresh coriander leaves and remove the pan from heat.
10.    Delicious mirch mutton masala is ready, transfer it in a serving bowl and serve hot with naans or chapattis.
