Dahi Baray Recipe: Required Ingredients

All-purpose flour
1 ½ cup plain yogurt
1.2 tsp orange food color
½ cup sugar
½ cup water
Oil for frying
Sour yogurt (as needed)
Dahi Baray Recipe: Cooking Instructions
Take yogurt a medium-sized bowl and beat it well with the help of a fork or egg-beater.
Add all-purpose flour and orange food color into the yogurt and mix well.
Cover the mixture and keep it in hot place for about four hours.
Once the recommended time has passed, take oil in a frying pan and heat it for 3-4 minutes.
Beat the all-purpose flour mixture once again and add its small dumplings in the hot oil with the help of a spoon.
Fry these dumplings until they become golden brown
Mix sugar in water thoroughly, keep this mixture over stove and let it cook for five to seven minutes.
Add baray in the prepared mixture and cover for 15 minutes.
Scrumptious “Khatay Meethay Dahe Baray” is ready. Serve with fresh cream.
