Chicken ka Achar Recipe: Required ingredients
½ kg boneless chicken (cut into small pieces)
Salt to taste
1 tbsp ginger paste
10-12 red chilies
2 tbsp dry coriander seeds
1 tbsp white cumin seeds
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp Fenugreek
½ tsp onion Seeds
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup cooking oil
Chicken ka Achar Recipe: Cooking Instructions
Wash chicken pieces thoroughly in fresh water and let them dry.
Marinate it in ginger-garlic paste, salt and turmeric powder, leave for about 15 minutes.
Sauté red chilies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and onion seeds in a non-stick frying pan and then grind all spices.
Take half cooking oil in a frying pan and heat it for three minutes over medium flame.
Add seasoned chicken into the hot oil and fry it.
When chicken pieces become golden brown and water has been dries, remove from heat and keep aside.
Add fried chopped tomatoes and mix well.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice in a small bowl, heat it for 3-4 seconds and mix in achaar.
Let it cool down, then save in a clean jar.
Serve this delicious achaar with special “daal chawal” dish.
