Chicken gravy is a healthy and appetizing dish that is liked by every one. Since it can be served with rice, naans as well as pitta breads, you can make it a part of your lunch menu or dinner party without any hesitation. Here is an easy chicken gravy recipe along with complete ingredients list.

Chicken Gravy Recipe: Required ingredients

2 kg chicken (large pieces)
2 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp melted butter
2 small bay leaves
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic cloves
6-8 large mashrooms
1 cup chicken yakhni
4 cups chopped ajwain leaves
6-8 almonds
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp corn flour Green onion (for garnishing)

Chicken Gravy Recipe: Cooking instructions

Cut the chicken into large pieces, wash thoroughly in fresh water and leave it for drying.
Take all-purpose flour (maida) in a dish and use it to coat the chicken pieces.
Now put this chicken in a plastic bag and leave for about half hour.
After the recommended time period, take cooking oil in a frying pan and heat it over medium flame.
Add the chicken into the oil and fry it.
When the chicken pieces become brown, transfer them in another dish.
Heat the butter in a sauce pan and fry bay leaves, chopped garlic cloves and almonds one by one.
Add all ingredients in pan except almonds.
Now add chicken yakhni, black pepper and salt and let it cook till comes to boil.
Mix corn flour in little water and add this mixture into the gravy.
When yakhni reaches to the desired thickness, add fried chicken, mashrooms and ajwain leaves and remove from heat.
Delicious chicken gravy is ready. Serve hot with naans, pitta bread or rice.
