Chow mein is a versatile Chinese dish that refers to stir fried noodles with the combination of well-seasoned meat and crunchy vegetables. Making chow mein isn’t much difficult, so you can easily make it at home without any excess effort. Here I have provided an easy recipe of Chinese Chicken Chow mein, try and enjoy.

Required Ingredients: Chinese Chicken Chow mein Recipe.

  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • ½ packet
  • Egg Noodles, boiled
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Red Capsicum (shimla mirch), chopped
  • 1 yellow Capsicum, finely chopped
  • 3-4 medium-sized Green Onions, finely chopped
  • 6-7 Mashrooms
  • 1 cup Bean Sprouts
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper, powdered
  • 1 tsp White pepper, powdered
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 1 tbsp White Vinegar
  • Few drops of Sesame Seed Oil
  • Olive Oil (as required)

Cooking Instructions:

  • Start with marinating the chicken breast pieces in salt, black pepper, white pepper and few drops of oil and leave it for about 20-25 minutes.
  • In the meantime, you should prepare the egg noodles for Chow mein. For this, boil them, drain and rinse in cold water. Don’t forget to follow the package instructions while boiling the noodles.
  • Take 3-4 tablespoons cooking oil in frying pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces.
  • Cut the chicken pieces into thin slices and place them in a dish.
  • Now fry all the vegetables that are finely chopped.
  • Add soya sauce, vinegar and chicken and mix them thoroughly.
  • Add salt, egg noodles, olive oil and sesame seed oil.
  • Finally add the bean sprouts.
  • Your Chinese Chicken Chow mein is ready now, place it in a serving dish, garnish with green onions and serve hot.
