Chana Chaat Recipe: Required Ingredients
1 ½ cup chickpeas (Submerge in fresh water for 5-6 hours)
250 g yogurt
2 tbsp tamarind pulp
1 onion (chopped)
2 tomatoes (cut into squares)
Few leaves of menthe (pudina) thinly chopped
Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped
4-5 green chilies (chopped)
½ tsp red chili powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp chaat masala
Papri (as needed)
2-3 tbsp oil
Chana Chaat Recipe: Cooking Instructions
First of all, boil the chickpeas until become soft and tender.
Remove the excess water from chickpeas and keep them aside.
Boil potatoes, remove their skin and cut into square shapes.
Add boiled chickpeas, potatoes, tamarind pulp and all spices in a large bowl and mix well.
Add yogrt and papri.
Now take 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan and heat it over medium flame.
Sauté onion in oil and then transfer it on a newspaper.
Now mix fried onion, coriander leaves and pudina.
Pour this mixture over the chaat.
Delicious chana chaat is ready; serve it hot or cold according to your choice.
